So it's finished for another year. National novel writing month. A great idea. This year I failed to hit the 50k mark, finishing on about 33k. About a 1000 words a day. I am comfortable if dissapointed in defeat. However, I have a focused novel written in sequence. It should be easier to edit.
Also this week we had our second production meeting for Pantomime Shorts. This is the show of four short plays that will be peformed at the Alma Theatre in the first week of January 2017. We discussed actors, blocking and rehearsals with the director, Daniel Smith. He has a daily radio show on Freeze Peach. It's great - have a listen. We also went over the marketing material. It's an image of some of the elements of the show made to look like crystal glass. We had a mismatch between the times in the brochure and the adverts printed in the Bristol Post so we plumped for 8pm (and 6pm for Sunday) on the posters.
